Til Death do us Part

by: Hanna Delacour

*This is something I just tossed off when
thinking about Draco/Hemione. I am so used to writing
fanfiction that I think I forgot who to properly write
a poem, lol. All that really matters is that Draco and
Hermione have touched and inspired me, and I hope to
convey that to you.

Hogwarts will forever remember,
A tale of a forbidden pair.
A silver eyed dark knight,
And his brown haired lady fair.

Hermione was a brilliant girl,
Knew books by heart.
A know-it-all she was called by most,
And all knew that she was smart.

Draco was a pureblood wizard,
Proud and overly sarcastic.
Hermione and Draco with sharp tongues,
Made most situations drastic.

Equals on the battlefield of wits,
From hate the seed of love was sown,
Fighting every chance they got,
Their passions were unknown.

Obstacles, and troubles lay,
Before our destined duo.
Friends and family lines were drawn,
The rest we already know.

It was from great passion,
These two conjoin.
Against raging odds and reasons,
Each other’s hearts they did purloin.

He loved her for all her faults,
That razor wit and hair.
She loved him despite his flaws,
deplorable Malfoy ego and flair.

And so our couple faced the odds,
And in the end victorious.
For a love so verboten,
Could only be strong and glorious.

And so our story ends upon the dais,
Our lovers now unite.
A lifetime they shall live anew,
A life of happiness in the light.

The world may forever be at war,
And empires fall and perish.
Draco and Hermione will live on,
Our hearts to forever relish.

Forbidden love shall always inspire,
A poet’s dying heart.
Draco and Hermione shall be together,
Until death do they part.
