Hey Tonks! I think you're super cool! OKay, well, here is my question: If you were to go on a blind date, how would you use your powers to get ready?
Hi Marlenie! Thank you so much and that's an interesting question. I guess I would probably just make sure that my hair looked nice, my features were symetrical, and that I hopefully looked pleasent enough to catch the attention of whoever I was meeting for my blind date. Dull, I know, but without knowing what the person is looking for as far as looks go, there isn't much else I can hope to do.

Hello!! Let me just say that I adore your character. I was wondering if you could be so kind as to answer a few questions of mine:
1. With your powers is it possible to look like anyone else?
2. what kind of hairgel do you use?
Nerah, I'd be more than happy to answer a few questions. Hopefully I can do them justice. First and foremost, yes it is possible for me to look like someone else. It isn't as simple as creating a 'new' look is, necessarily, but with enough practice, I can usuall mimick just about anyone. And I actually don't use hairgel. One of the perks of being a Metamorphmagus is that I don't have to use any sort of spray or gel to make my hair stay in place (provided it doesn't completely go against the law of gravity).

Is auror training hard? if so, what are some of the things that you have to do?
Hera --
Actually, Auror training is only difficult if you are weak in some of the training exercises. For example, stealth is something I'm not precisely wonderful at. As a natural klutz, I have a difficult time not being noticed. However, other areas -- such as disguises -- I am excelled at.

Hey, I had a question...What look do you like to do with your Metamorphmagus powers? Any particular person?
Hey Olivia! I actually use my powers for either Auror or Order business, predominantly. It most definitely helps with going incognito. I also, when around friends, enjoy doing impersonations of others. I think, perhaps, one of my favorites during the war was doing a rather ... not so nice impersonation of Cornelius Fudge. Severus Snape is also fun to imitate, so long as I know he isn't around to catch me.

Hello Tonks, may I ask of what u think about Draco/Hermione? How do u feel about Sirius's death? And,what do you think about my father, oops,I mean Voldemort??*nervous laughter*:p
Dear Areana Riddle,
First of all, I think that my cousin is capable of being quite a decent gentleman when he puts his mind to it and Hermione is a wonderful young woman. However, as the product of a controversial relationship, I really would prefer to keep my opinions to myself as I'm not precisely non-biased.
Secondly, I missed Sirius terribly. Fortunately, if you follow the current going-on's at Beyond Hogwarts, you will see that my second cousin is no longer deceased. However, during the time he was gone, I missed him very much.
And as for Voldemort... He was a horrid, terrible, meglomaniac who deserved everything that happened to him and so much more. It is because of his narrow minded views that many of my friends are no longer living and for that I will never, ever find anything good to say about it.

Hey Tonks! Let me just say you are awesome! Anyway, when did you first realize you were a Metamorphmagus? Do you think Harry could be one?
Gina, thanks! *blushes* It's nice to know that people apparently think I'm awesome.
I knew when I was quite young that I was a Metamorphmagus. As a toddler I was constantly changing subtle things about my appearance without even realizing I was doing it. At the age of five, my first day of primary school, I accidentally made myself look quite similar to the little girl who was sitting a few seats ahead of me (I had been quite jealous of her long, blond hair). And no, I don't think Harry could be one. A Metamorphmagus shows an ability at a young age. He is a wizard -- a very powerful wizard, of course -- but this is one skill that I don't think he has.

So your first cousins with Malfoy? Are there any family reunions in the Black Family? In fact does your mum talk to her sisters at all?
XaNdRa,
Yes, I am first cousins with Draco Malfoy. His mother, Narcissa, and my mother, Andromeda, are sisters. And the insane and quite evil Bellatrix makes up the Black sisters. I really don't know about family reunions as no, my mum does not speak to her sisters. She made her decision to turn her back on their ignorant ways and follow her heart -- which led her to my dad. And marrying a Muggleborn is not something that the Black family would tend to forgive or forget about.

'Ello Tonks! How are you? I'm doing brilliant! Just a question...which hair colour is your favourite? I know your hair changes a lot!
Wotcher, Sabrina! I'm doing wonderful, thank you for asking. And as for a favourite hair colour... I really prefer blue as my all time favourite colour. However, it doesn't always look best on me. I personally think that red suits me best.

Can you turn invisible at will?
Are you simultaneously an Animagus as well? I mean, you can turn each part of your body into other things, right? So why not the whole body?
Would you ever need the Polyjuice Potion?
Were you the pride of the peaches?
Duck,
No, I cannot turn invisible.
No, I'm not an Animagus. I can change the physical aspects of my body to a certain extent -- moving beyond the realm of human becomes dangerous and a bit tricky.
No, I've never had a need for Polyjuice Potion, nor do I think I ever will.

Dearest Tonks, I would like to say how wonderful your hair looked during Harry's fifth year of schooling. How do you choose you hair color and style from each day to the next?
Dear Meg,
Thank you! I take a great pride in my unique hair colors and styles. It's a sort of hobby of mine that helps pass the time on particularly boring assignments from the Ministry. ;) As for how I choose my color: really, it depends on my mood, as well as what I'm wearing and doing at the time. And most styles I try come from magazines I've read, or other witches (and sometimes wizards) that I've seen through my travels.

HEY TONKS! I just have to say I'm a HUGE fan of yours! My question is do you like those theory's about you and my baby Lupin? and so how do you feel?
Lupin Lover,
Thanks! It's great to know I have fans! Wow! And to answer your question... NO! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! Remus and I are friends. Nothing more. He is almost an older brother to me. He could perhaps pass as a father figure at times. Or an uncle of some sorts. But under NO circumstances would I ever be anything even remotely romantic with him. And, besides all of that, he's gay. *wink* So it really is a moot point.

What were you like during your Hogwarts days? Did your Metamorphmagus powers ever get in the way of leading a "normal" teenage life?
Elly Macey, I was the daughter of a Muggleborn that no one hardly knew and Andromeda Black, sister to the infamous Bellatrix Black Lestrange. I can promise you that, even if I hadn't been a Metamorphmagus, I could have never been considered "normal". And as for what I was like... I was a Gryffindor. I was horrid at Potions, and decent at most other things, except Divination. I was best at Defense Against the Dark Arts, though. And no, I did not constantly break the rules and get into trouble and lose House Points. At least, I was never caught doing any of those things. ;-)

About your name (you probably will get this a lot), but how did you wind up with that? did your mother name you after someone? if so, who?
Wren Riverstone,
My mum claims she read the name somewhere and decided it was unique enough for the unique child she knew she was going to have. Personally, I believe she just wanted someone around with a stranger (and longer) name than her own.

Hey Tonks. Well I was wondering if you have any relationship with someone in the Order? You know there is Bill, Charlie, Remus, and many more (hehe) but just between us girls, who have you shagged!? Hehe! You don't have to answer that but I'm sure all of us are dying to know who of the Order is the best shag... but please don't say Moody or I might puke.
Leesah,
Who I have and haven't shagged is quite personal. However, I can assure you that it was not Remus (see my previous answer concerning him specifically as to why). I've always thought Bill was ... nice. Charlie was a bit too concerned with dragons, which are creatures I avoid if I can if only because you do not want to trip when walking past one. And I can most definitely assure you I was never interested in Alastor Moody as anything more than a mentor.

Hey Tonks! I just have a few questions for you.
- All of the people on your family tree, the ones who have turned against good and turned evil, when they were young, were they really actually nice? What I mean is, were they actually on the good side?
-What are the advantages and disadvangtages of being a metamorphmagus?
Thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions! You are the best!
Skyleia,
Hi! Alright, let's see if I can clear up a few things.
Aside from Draco, I'm one of the youngest known members of the Black family. So I really can't say what my aunts and second cousins were like when they were young. However, from what my mum has always told me, the entire family was seeped in Dark Arts and, while not quite as vocal a supporter of Voldemort as some, they were definitely never 'good'.
The advantages of being a Metamorphmagus are easy: I can change my appearance at will. I never have bad hair days, can blend in to look quite inconspicous when needed, and can also attract a great deal of attention to myself if a diversion is required. The disadvantages, or the largest one at least, comes with dating. It's difficult to tell if a man wants to be with me for me, or because I can make myself look like his fantasy girl.

-Could you potentially turn your skin scaly?
-Is it tiring to stay in a changed form for too long?
As I said before, turning anything other than human is difficult and tricky. While I could technically, possibly do it, I have never tried and don't intend to.
Depending on how much of a changed form I am in, I can become a bit tired. For instance, changing my hair or eye color is easy and takes little to no effort. Making myself look exactly like someone else takes a certain amount of concentration. But I can still maintain it for quite a large period of time.

Hi, Tonks! First of all, I think you're really cool! Ok, on to my question, I was wondering, what color hair were you actually born with? Also, did you ever have a crush on Sirius?
Sonya,
Hi! I was born with black colored hair. Pictures of me as a baby and small child show thick, black hair that looks almost blueish when in certain light. And no, I never had a crush on Sirius. You have to remember that I grew up when Sirius was in Azkaban. While my mother never believed him to be guilty of betrayal, the rest of the wizarding world didn't agree.

Hi! I just have to say, I think you're SO cool! But I do have a question. Since you technically are part of the family, do you have any idea what life is like inside the Malfoy household? Is Draco really the nasty little bugger most people thinks he is or is that just a show? Is he mean to you or does he just ignore you? ... Do you like having your powers? Thankies!
Junsui Chikyuu,
Hi! I really can't say much about the Malfoy household. I am not a pureblood and therefore am a 'stain on the Black family name' as my dear Aunt Narcissa would have likely said. From what I do know of Draco, he truly is a spoiled child who has views very much like those of his parents. However, he is capable of changing and I hope that he does. And I adore having my powers. They're quite a bit of fun and, after all these years, I still haven't grown bored with them.

Hey Tonks! You are one of my most favorite characters of all time! I was wondering if changing your hair and eye color is difficult to do or if it is painful. Also, I was wondering if it is hard to have family members who are followers of You-Know-Who, especially since you yourself are an Auror? Thanks!
moony32,
Hi! No, changing my appearence isn't painful. It can be tricky and a tad difficult depending on what I'm changing, but not painful, really. And as I dont' consider myself a Black, it isn't that difficult having family members who follow Voldemort. It actually makes catching them all the more satisfying.

Hey Tonks! I have 3 questions...
1. Did you know Harry's parents [and how] ?
2. Why do you always change your appearance? It's so cool to change it. I wish I could.
3. What is with your name, Nymphadora? I can't even PRONOUNCE it. How do you pronounce it?
Thanks so so much, Tonks.
Atasha,
1. No, I never knew the Potters. I studied about them in Auror training as they had managed to defeat Voldemort quite a few times. However, they passed away when I was quite young so I never got the chance to know them.
2. I always change my appearance because, to put it simply, it's fun to experiment.
3. As I said earlier, my name is something that my mum claims she read and liked. I don't believe her but I can hardly prove her wrong. And it's pronounced: Nymf-ah-door-ah Although I'll likely ignore anyone aside from my mum who tries to call me that.

Hi Tonks! I was wondering... do you like Welsh rabbit?
Graphton,
Alright, that is a rather... unique question. Either it is some sort of joke or you are asking me if I actually enjoy eating a perfectly harmless bunny rabbit. If that's the case, no. I'm a vegetarian.

How does it feel to be related to Narcissa Malfoy?
Brandy,
About the same as it feels to be related to Bellatrix Lestrange. It hurts a bit when they do something that harms someone I care about or an innocent person. But otherwise, I really could care less that they happen to be my aunts.

Tonks, I must say you rock! Now on to my question: Were you scared the first time you used your powers as a Metamorphmagus?
Gina,
I used my powers on accident the first time, so I wasn't so much scared as shocked. I've never truly been frightened of using my powers as they come naturally to me.

Heya dear! by the way, I LOVE your hair! You're one of the coolest characters in Harry's 5th year. So, onto my question, is there any sexual tension between Harry and Hermione or Ron and Hermione? Many have said Ron is the one who will hook up with Hermione... but I just don't see it.. Go Harry!!! Or even better, GO DRACO!!!!!
Maureen,
I really didn't sense much sexual tension between Harry and Hermione. I believe that Harry has enough on his plate without worrying too much about romance. Ron and Hermione, while they do have some chemistry, really can't seem to stop arguing long enough to notice it. And Draco needs to wake up and stop being a junior version of his father if he is to stand a chance with Hermione -- or any other decent, respectable, non-evil girl.

Are you ever excluded from other witches or wizards because of your ability to "morph"? I know werewolves are unjustly disliked because most of the wizarding world lives in mortal fear of them. But is it ever that way for you?
Sydney Riddle,
No, I've never been excluded as far as I am aware for my abilities. I've had a few people frown or sniff in disdain -- but usually that's because I'm doing some sort of outlandish style or colour. Most people, however, realize that it's just a natural ability that I have and don't give it much thought.
26) Submitted by: Reporter Skeeter
Would you take Draco Malfoy in if anything happens and do you think that he can change sides??
Reporter Skeeter,
Yes, if Draco needed a place to stay and I truly believed he had changed, I would offer to help him as much as I could. Although I highly doubt he'd accept the help. And I think that most anyone, while still young, is capable of changing. It simply takes effort and honesty and willingness to do so.
