1)What does 'Contra Veritas' mean?
The name 'Contra Veritas' was originally coined by P.Satori, and -- translated literally from Latin -- it means 'Against The Truth'. We modified it to 'Against All Reasons' as CV's motto.
2) Why do you use the colours red and black in every layout?
Red and black are well-suited to convey a combination of darkness, elegance and romance, exactly the themes for Draco/Hermione. Besides, who wouldn't agree black and red look awesomel together? ;)
3) How did CV start?
CV was originally created by Brittany and Wickedwitch to be the official site for the D/Hr Yahoo!Group, Sleeping With The Enemy. It was fairly simple, with only a few sections and was hosted on Angelfire. Brittany had to step down from her post due to Real Life commitments. Pixyzombie then stepped in to help WickedWitch with the management of CV and they both enlisted the help of some D/Hr shippers (see current Crew list) to assist them running the site. CV soon moved to a new server and acquired its own domain name thanks for our generous hostess, Amura.
WickedWitch has since stepped down from her post to commit to Real Life, and Amura has graciously stepped up to fill in the post.
Management:
1) How did you create the layout and graphics for CV?
Our resident layout artist, Caprigrrl, uses Macromedia Dreamweaver to design the layouts and Adobe Photoshop to design the graphics.
2) Where do you get the Draco + Hermione/Tom + Emma pics for your site?
We acquired most of our pics from TheSnitch.co.uk, GEM Galleries, One-Take Watson & tomfeltononline.com. See our Picture Gallery for more sources!
Many of you have been wondering where we obtained a certain rare picture of Draco. That pic was given to us by the lovely lecharme, and you can find it here. (Please credit the pic to her if you want to use it!)
3) I have an inquiry/ complaint concerning a specific section of CV. To whom should I refer to?
