Well, we is back again, fresh from the latest round of our never ending battle against the Big Bad Bandwidth Bunnies. Bunnies? We hear you ask, why bunnies? Aha! But you see, that’s the beauty of their plan. Nobody suspects the bunnies! But not us, oh no! We know what you’re up to, and we’re going to stop you, do you hear us, we will stop you!!!! Hahahahahahaha *note to self, change medication*

Ok, ahem, so we’re back, yes. Crazy? Maybe, but life’s more fun when sanity is optional, that’s our motto. But enough random waffle. We’ve been down for a while and you know what that means, right? Yes, we got LOTS of stuff for you. So sit back, get comfy, and prepare for a feast of D/Hr goodies!

NEW DRACO HBP PICS

Tom tom tom tom, tom tom tom tom TOM! Ok, so the song sounded better in our heads (but then again, we’ve heard ourselves in the shower… so erm, moving on). First up this update, we have a veritable storm of Tom stuff for you to savour. From old HP to new, we got it all, including some material from his new, non HP movie which looks good, despite its ridiculous plot (Ghosts? Come on, do they really think we are gonna fall for that? Nah, he should stick to playing a teenage wizard being bullied into the service of an evil, quasi-immortal super villain bent on world domination. That’s far more sensible… what?). Anywho, before we get to that, let’s stick to familiar territory. It’s 137 days till the release of HBP, and the Warner Brothers media machine is getting revved up in preparation. The latest batch of promo material included two fresh shots of Tom/Draco getting down to business. Check em out.

Our old friend Dhesia has been a BUSY little bee lately. Not only has she sent in a TON of manips (see below), but she has also seen fit to send us this fabulous piece of art to boot. This we like, oh yes, we like!

It’s been a while since we had a new poem to share with you, so you can imagine how happy we were to get this little number from Vahll, by the name of Different But the Same. Enjoy it folks, we did!

And now, as the old saying goes, for something completely different. We’ve seen it all over the years, fanvids of all shapes and sizes, from the brilliant to the bizarre to the downright scary. This one… well, to be honest, we weren’t really sure how to introduce it to you. It’s a song, true. An original song to boot. Written by fans and sung by (the same) fans. And i’ts D/Hr all the way, no doubt. It’s nothing less, in point of fact, than a fully fledged, original, acapella D/Hr song! What’s that you say? Impossible? That’s what we thought, but we were wrong, it seems and, in this instance, we are glad to be wrong, cos this is one that you will remember folks, oh yes. Click away!

And while we’re posting vids that defy classification, here’s another one. Fanfiction. Do you read it? Do you like it? What makes a good fanfic? What makes a BAD fanfic? Everyone has, and is entitled to, their opinion on the subject. Most people don’t take the time and trouble to record their views in what can best be called an editorial videoblog format, but this girl has, and in the process she mentions a certain D/Hr fanfic site… can’t remember the name now… darn, its right on the end of my tongue… Oh well, watch the vid and find out for yourself. She seems to have studied fanfic in some detail, both the good and the bad of it, and has entrusted her opinions to youtube (she also takes time out to compliment the makers of male shirts… no really, she does!). Well, we’re back! Yes guys, you can breathe a sigh of relief, CV is back from its, admittedly unplanned, little hiatus. Yes, the evil gremlin of the bandwidth limit has reared its ugly head again. How ugly? We hear you ask. Well, just imagine the love child of Umbridge and Filch and you’re getting close *ye gods, what an image!* We’re back now though, and hopefully to stay. *crosses fingers* So let’s make hay while the sun shines as they say.

It’s still months and months away, but already the stream of promo images from the next HP movie outing, HBP are starting to come in. And the good news is that, unlike with previous offerings, this time out, WB has chosen to include Draco in their promo material. FELTBEATS YET AGAIN

Ok, so this has been circulating round the fandom for quite a while now, we know that guys. The reason for the delay in posting was because we had to wait for our industrial strength earmuffs to arrive. That’s right, there’ll be no deafening us with fangirl screams this time, oh no! With these puppies on we can’t hear a damned thing. That’s right, we could even go to a whole Celine Dion concert without suffering from nervous breakdown! (no offense to Celine fans ^_^;;; ) Well, maybe not a whole concert. *shudder*, no, just the first song… or maybe… ah hell, it doesn’t matter. These are bloody good earmuffs. So, now that we are protected *smug grin*, it’s time to announce Tom’s new vid. Tis a medley this time, with Tom singing several soppy love songs, all romantic and the like, and smiling… OUCH! EMMA, ALL GROWN UP

Not to be overshadowed by her co-star, it seems Miss Watson has been in the news again… sort of anyway. Yes, it was inevitable we suppose (and to be honest, it’s a little creepy), but Emma has recently been voted onto both the FHM and MAXIM Top 100 Sexiest Women of the Year lists. Well, ok, we should be glad for her, after all, she is an adult now, but it’s just a bit… odd, but that could just be us. *shrug* Congrats Emma.

EMMA’S BDAY BASH

Ah to turn 18 again, and to have an 18th birthday party. With all the fun and frivolity and the getting blind drunk until all hours of the night with our friends. Oh the memories… the hangovers. From the look of Emma in a couple of these pictures, she knows what we’re talking about. Ah well, thats life for you kiddo! Btw, see if you can spot who else is looking worse for the wear in a couple of these piccies… it seems that Emma has been partying with a certain blond…

EMMA NEWS

Fresh off her 18th birthday, it seems that Emma has been busy shaping herself up for adult life, and quite sensible she’s being about it too. According to THIS article, she has been taking lessons from financial experts on how best to manage her 10.5 million pound bank account. If only everyone were so prudent (ah hell, what are we saying, if only WE were so lucky that we’d need lessons in how to look after our fortune )

And while we are discussing her fortune, it seems that it is about to get considerably bigger in the near future. Quite apart from whatever sweeties she will earn from her participation in the final 3 HP movies, Miss Watson has apparently agreed to take over the role recently vacated by one Scarlett Johansson who, at 23, was apparently too old to play the character of Betsy in the upcoming period romance, “Napoleon and Betsy”. OK so Emma taking on new acting roles… good. Emma playing an 18 year old girl in a movie… good, she is 18 after all. However, Emma playing an 18 year old girl who falls in love with Napoleon during his final exile on St. Helena, when he was at least 46 years old… well, there is a bit of an EWWWW factor there. But, its an indie movie, so we can but hope that they are taking quite a bit of artistic license with the casting of their male lead. Click HERE to read the full article.
